Sounding like a medical procedure, an Eyelash Lift/Perm is the next best eyelash treatment instead of having eyelash extensions. For those who do not like, or have time for the Eyelash Extension application, the lash lift can give a prominent curl to any size or eyelash shape and by adding a black tint at the end of the treatment process will add more definition to your eyes. In addition, an Eyelash Lift helps those with very straight lashes to produce a curl for a more eye-popping look.
The treatment takes about 30 minutes or up to 45 if adding the tinting of the lashes to the treatment. This service last from two to three months.
The Process
This entails lash lift curlers (silicone half-moon shaped rods) being applied with a cosmetic glue to the top of the eyelids and the natural lashes being forced around the curler. The perming solution is then applied and left to process for 10-15 minutes. The fixing solution is then applied and left for 10-15 minutes and then finished with a conditioning treatment for 10 minutes before wiping them clean.
End Results
When you look in the mirror you realize that the time and money spent was worth it. Your eyelashes will have a curl, they are defined and will look astonishingly full in volume!
Your normal mascara can be applied, but if you have one of those make-up free days your wonderfully curly lashes will give your eyes a distinct look without the use of mascara.
